Assign the quiz
Any published quiz that you have access to can be assigned. Any custom quizzes you have in draft will prompt you to publish them before they can be assigned.
There are two ways to access the assign options for a published quiz; from your dashboard or through the library.
From your dashboard
Select the quiz that you want to assign, then select the ‘Assign’ icon in the top right corner.
From the library
Find the quiz you wish to assign to your pupils in your quiz library by using the filters or searching the quiz name or quiz ID in the search bar.
When you have found your desired quiz, click the assign icon.
On the assign page
The ‘Assign pupils’ panel will appear on the right. Select the class you wish to assign the quiz to from the ‘Class’ dropdown.
Select the quiz mode and quiz sound settings you wish to apply to the assigned quiz and then click 'Continue'.
All pupils within that class will then be listed below.
The quiz mode and sound settings you are assigning are also shown on this panel. To change either of these settings click 'Change’. Here you can choose to assign the quiz in your preferred mode and control the sounds. Press ‘Continue’ to save your settings and return to assigning the quiz.
Choose 'Select all’ to easily assign the quiz to all class members or select the individual pupils you wish to complete this quiz in this mode selection.
To un-assign a quiz, or a particular quiz mode, from a pupil simply click the checkbox to de-select and then click 'Update'. The quiz will no longer be shown on their pupil homepage.
The access codes the children need to log in to the Infinity app and tackle their assigned quizzes can be downloaded as a PDF by clicking 'Pupil access codes'.
Select 'Update' to assign the quiz to the currently selected pupils.
If your children are accessing the Infinity app for the first time on their device, they may be asked to enter their school code before they enter their pupil access code. The school code is shown at the top of the pupil access codes PDF. This code is the same for your whole school, whereas pupil access codes are unique to each child.
QR code or quiz pin
You can also share your quiz using a QR code or quiz PIN. Pupils can scan the QR code in the Infinity app or enter the quiz PIN to access the quiz. If they enter their pupil access code, their results will be tracked; but pupils without a login can still take part using this method.
Open a published quiz and click 'Share'.
Configure the 'Quiz mode' and 'Quiz sound' settings you would like to use then press 'Continue' at the bottom.
This will generate a QR code and quiz PIN that you can share with pupils by displaying it on screen or downloading and printing it.
The quiz pin is helpful when using the browser version of the Infinity app or when on a device without camera access.

Present at the front of the class
Presenting an Infinity quiz at the front of class is a great way to engage pupils together, spark discussion, and check understanding in real time. No individual devices needed!
This method is ideal for whole-class teaching or group work. As it’s designed for shared learning, results aren’t recorded when you use this method.

The quiz then opens in a new tab, and appears exactly as it would within the Infinity pupil app.
