How do pupils access an assigned quiz?

You have assigned your quiz; how do your pupils access it?

The digital quizzes you assign on Infinity+ can be accessed through the White Rose Infinity app; available on iOS, Android, and as a web browser app.

Where to get the app

To download the app, visit the App Store or Play Store on your device and search ‘White Rose Infinity’. Look out for this logo:

Alternatively, pupils can access the web browser app.

When the app is opened you will see the app log in screen. For pupils with an Infinity+ pupil access code, they can log in by selecting the person icon in the top left corner.

What information do I need to log into the app?

If this is the first time the Infinity app has been accessed on your device or browser, you will first be asked to enter your school code. This is a six-letter code which is the same for your whole school. This code is not case sensitive and can be entered in lower or upper case.

The school code can be found on the pupil access code pdf and any quiz share code. Once pupils have input their school code once, this will only need to be input again when the app is updated or change group is selected.

You will then be asked for your pupil access code. These are unique codes for each child made up of three three-letter words. This code is also not case sensitive.

Pupil access codes can be found on the access code PDF which can be downloaded when the quiz is assigned.

For more details on how to assign a quiz or download your pupil access codes see our handy how-to guide.

Children who do not have an Infinity+ pupil access code can still attempt Infinity quizzes but their results will not be stored. For more information on how to access an Infinity quiz without a pupil access code please see this guide on how to scan or enter quiz codes in the pupil app.

Once logged in

Once the pupil access code has been entered, you should see the pupil homepage. Here you can see all the quizzes currently assigned.

The stars next to the pupil's name in the top right corner indicate the total number of stars earned across all attempts of all assigned quizzes!

Pupils can then select the quiz they would like to complete by clicking the quiz tile.

On each quiz tile, the pupils best quiz score so far is shown for each quiz. The progress bar shows if the quiz has been fully or partially completed. Newly assigned quizzes which have not yet been opened have a completely grey progress bar.

The Infinity symbol is shown in the bottom right corner of the quiz tile if the quiz was assigned in Infinite mode. This means that each time you tackle this quiz you will see different numbers within each of the questions. If the Infinity symbol is not there, the quiz was assigned in identical mode - each time you attempt the quiz the questions will include the same numbers.

The quiz name is displayed below each quiz tile, allowing pupils to easily identify which quiz is which.

To attempt a quiz, simply click on the quiz tile and the quiz will open.
